About Rwandan Community Abroad

The Rwandan Community Abroad (RCA) is present across the world and constitutes a strategic pillar of Rwanda’s national development agenda. The Government of Rwanda (GoR) recognizes the diaspora as an integral component of the Nation, an essential partner whose contribution, when effectively mobilized, significantly advances socio-economic transformation and strengthens Rwanda’s global presence.

The expertise, professional experience, and networks accumulated by RCA members represent a valuable asset for the development of key sectors such as health, education, technology, entrepreneurship, and innovation. Beyond financial remittances, the diaspora contributes knowledge transfer, investment linkages, and strategic partnerships that directly support Rwanda’s Vision 2050 ambitions.

The Embassy of Rwanda in Jordan actively engages the Rwandan community through cultural events, professional networking initiatives, national commemorations, and dialogue platforms. These engagements aim to strengthen unity and national pride, promote Rwanda’s values and identity, and mobilize the diaspora’s skills and expertise in support of national development priorities.

The Embassy therefore encourages all Rwandans living in Jordan who have not yet registered to do so through the official RCA online platform: www.rwandancommunityabroad.gov.rw, and to apply for a consular card. Registration facilitates access to consular services, strengthens community coordination, and ensures effective communication between the Embassy and the Rwandan community in Jordan.
